I'm slowly starting to get into makeup and learning the art of it, which is pretty neat. There's more to it than you think..as with a lot of things. I never started wearing makeup until my late high school years and I have always been pretty minimal with it. I mainly stick with the basics; mascara, bronzer, chapstick and eyeliner when I want to be fancy. My take on makeup is to enhance the natural beauty, but sometimes it is fun to try new things and play with it. I started with watching tutorials on youtube and I've had help from a few friends. I was told that my lips were my best feature so I should focus on them.
Anyways, I started a little lipstick collection and this is my newest shade. Joe Fresh actually has some pretty colors for a decent price. Don't get me wrong...the classic red lip is still a fav, but fuchsia is fun for a change. Plus I'm a big fan of bright lipstick (which some people will never get...heh).
what do you think?
and here is one of my favorite makeup artists.
she did an awesome tutorial on makeup for bright lips.
Yeah! Nice lips! I wore a lot of makeup in high school my sophomore year, and by the middle of my junior year I decided to stop, because if I skipped a day, people would ask if I was tired... or high. haha. That bothered me, so I gave up on makeup. I actually started wearing makeup more regularly earlier this year.
