"Oh Canada"
I thought I'd share with you some of my winter looks to take advantage of my winter gear since spring is just around the corner {well maybe not for Winnipeg a.k.a. Winterpeg}. We have been blessed with a pretty mild winter so far and it just started snowing more recently. I enjoy snow -- it's beautiful and the weather tends to be more mild when it snows.
tip: Wear a lot of layers to stay warm. I layered my sweater over my button up and then under my parka. I also tucked my pants into my good ol' wool socks. For more intense weather, I'll even double up my socks and wear my handy dandy long johns {you may feel like a nerd but they really help...I usually wear mine all winter}. Every layer counts!
I'm excited for the weekend. For my Winnipeg folk, please be careful driving...it's pretty snowy and slippery {sorry I get that from my mom}. I'm off to that black light zumba party tonight! What are your plans?
happy friday.

This post makes me laugh because It's totally what you have to do in winter to keep warm! And I have the same mitts as you, as does all the other Canadians... :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe it's snowing where you are! I wore short sleeves today! We had really stormy weather though and I think that's part of the reason it was so warm. But still, I love this inspiration for my next winter! Haha The pop of pink is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could look that cute all bundled up. Mostly I just end up looking like a big sack of potatoes when I layer up. :O
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Sherri!
